Here are a few images from a shoot I had for a food blog.
As you guys know I love food and have been photographing it more on a regular basis. Here are a few shots I took for my friends food blog.
I was a little skeptical of the weather the day I got together with the Feltons to photograph their children. Jimmy, a long time friend of mine, had asked me to take some shots of his family. Along with his wife Marni and their twins, Jack and Jordyn, we headed to Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay. The weather held out except for a few sprinkles here and there. The kids had a great time! Let me know what you think of the photos!
A few weeks ago my friend Jennifer asked me if I could photograph her daughter for her first birthday party. Below are a few of the photos, let me know what you think.
Last week we went to North Shore Animal League “just to look” at dogs and we ended up falling in love with Stella…
Ashley and Jodie were training for a half marathon while John, Weylyn and I decide where to eat.
Over the last few weeks I have been reading up on how to take long exposure photographs during the day. Here are a few things I have learned:
1. Do not stack the ND filters.
2. Make sure you take the strap off. I really didn’t think it would make a difference, but I guess the wind must have moved the strap because some of the shots came out blurry.
3. Use a heavy duty tripod.
4. Go outside and shoot a ton of photos.
So, I decided to put these tips to good use. I took advantage of the beautiful, chilly day and drove out to Montauk to play around with my techniques.
Check out a few of my shots:
